Yes, the following members of our Masonic Family may now come into the Home on a “pay as you go” basis. (1) A Master Mason and his wife. (2) The widow or child of a deceased Master Mason. (3) The daughter, sister, or mother of a Master Mason. Note: Those of sufficient financial assets may be required to pay a one time entrance fee. Interested Brethren may secure entrance forms from Box 869, Parkersburg, WV 26101. Thank you MW Paul Cottrell, PGM, for providing this update.
PENNY A DAY Brethren PLEASE SUPPORT your only approved Charity. It is the West Virginia Masonic Memorial Fund. It is supported by your giving through the Penny A Day program and your other gifts and Bequeaths . Give by placing donations with your Lodge Secretary, dropping money in the donation jars in your lodge, sending it directly to the HOME or the Grand Secretary also by remembering the Home in your Will. We appreciate what you have already done and hope you will continue or even do better this year. Bill F. Gardner, PGM
Harold, will you please let all the brothers throughout the state know that Master Masons may again park at Joseph W. Summers No. 173 for W.V.U. football games. Please remind them to leave their current DUES CARD on their dashboard so we will know not to tow them.
If brothers RSVP to let me know they’re planning to attend, and if there is enough interest, I may be enticed to prepare something to eat and drink. It’s a joy to be able to be hospitable, but I need to know how many to prepare for. RSVP by leaving a message on my cell phone.
Tom Bell, PM/Secretary, Joseph W. Summers No. 173

Most Excellent Charles Wimer, Grand High Priest, plans to visit , Guyandotte Chapter #10, Thursday, October 2nd, Hancock Chapter #14 at New Cumberland, Monday, October 6th.
Harold, If you would please contact your Royal Arch web-site associates, there is a little correction to the Grand Chapter Reservation Forms. Since our local mail goes through the Baltimore, MD post office, if there is any problems, the mail gets ‘lost’. So Melvin’Pete’ Masters has asked to have his Zip Code on the reservation form changed to 25405 to make sure he gets Grand Chapter reservations.
Thanks so much,
Dave Smith PGHP

It was mentioned tonight at our monthly meeting that Pennsboro #20 will hold our annual inspection on 15 November 2014 @ 13:00 with a banquet to follow at approximately 16:30. This will be a singular inspection as Pennsboro has been granted so to go it alone. As many of the Companions will remember, especially those who in other years attended our inspections, that Pennsboro was one of the top Commandrys in the state for many years. We are going to work very hard to bring that same acheivement back to Pennsboro. All Sir Knights and Ladies are invited.
