Harold, will you please let all the brothers throughout the state know that Master Masons may again park at Joseph W. Summers No. 173 for W.V.U. football games. Please remind them to leave their current DUES CARD on their dashboard so we will know not to tow them.

If brothers RSVP to let me know they’re planning to attend, and if there is enough interest, I may be enticed to prepare something to eat and drink. It’s a joy to be able to be hospitable, but I need to know how many to prepare for. RSVP by leaving a message on my cell phone.

Fraternally,

Tom Bell, PM/Secretary, Joseph W. Summers No. 173

Davis C. E. We are planning on putting on the 4th & 14th degrees at our regular meeting in November. Will need help as this is also the date of the Grand Lodge in Va. We also are looking for candidates, and as we start a new degree year, persons looking to help in any manner in the degrees, let me know. Also I will have the staging plans for the degrees at the next meeting.

CHAPTER

Update:
Good Morning Companion Phil – Just wanted to let you know the Stated Convocation of Bigelow #4 R.A. Chapter in Weston –  has been changed to the 4th Thursday of the Month – I noticed on the website it listed the wrong day – (just a little side note, all R.A. Chapters in District #4 meet on Thursday – except Phillippi – the 4th Friday) – I wish you a Good Day Today.
PG Steve, HP Bigelow #4

Harold, Hold up on any notice of Huntington 6 Chapter work on November 1st. It appears Charleston Scottish Rite has a festival that day and we do not want to conflict. I will forward you a reschedule date when we have a chance to get together.
Thanks,
Rick Elam

GRAND CHAPTER

Possible travel delay:

Just before Cumberland on I 68, they posted that construction will be delaying traffic beginning 10-20 through 10-24. For those attending Grand Chapter and are coming through Cumberland, please add some extra time.  It looked like the crews were trying to finish up some guard rails, and maybe planning to resurface the road and remove the  concrete barriers this week. Maybe send this to Harold Philips for his web-site.

ALSO, several Grand Officers have not sent reservations as of Saturday 5:00 pm. People need to contact Pete Masters ASAP; time is running out on the banquet and luncheon.

Dave Smith PGHP

Morgantown Chapter #30 Royal Arch Mason and Morgantown Commandary #18 will meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month at the Golden Corral in Star City for dinner at 6:00PM and will meet at the Lodge at 7:00PM for our meetings. Morgantown Chapter will meet at 7:00PM and Morgantown Commandary will meet following The Chapter meeting. This is our new date and times.

ABOVE TAKEN FROM KNIGHT TEMPLAR MAGAZINE & REVISED BY RIGHT EMINENT GRAND COMMANDER J. ROBERT VANCE

===============

It was mentioned tonight at our monthly meeting that Pennsboro #20 will hold our annual inspection on 15 November 2014 @ 13:00 with a banquet to follow at approximately 16:30. This will be a singular inspection as Pennsboro has been granted so to go it alone.  As many of the Companions will remember, especially those who in other years attended our inspections, that Pennsboro was one of the top Commandrys in the state for many years. We are going to work very hard to bring that same acheivement back to Pennsboro. All Sir Knights and Ladies are invited.
