MASONIC HOME – Did you know that the  Regulations have been changed whereby an applicant is not required to give up  all his lifetime assets to be admitted to the Home?  Yes, the following  members of our Masonic Family may now come into the Home on a “pay as you go”  basis. (1) A Master Mason and his wife. (2) The widow or child of a  deceased Master Mason. (3) The daughter, sister, or mother of a  Master Mason. Note: Those of sufficient financial assets may  be required to pay a one time entrance fee. Interested Brethren may  secure entrance forms from  Box 869, Parkersburg, WV 26101. Thank you MW Paul Cottrell, PGM, for providing this update.

Ed,.  I don’t know if word has gotten to you, but we are planning to do degrees in Cumberland on April 16 (Sat). I believe the schedule is the MEM at 9, followed by the RA (which should give people time to come out from the Baltimore-Washington area), then lunch and the Council degrees. Please pass this on to anyone who might want to make an interstate visitation. Thanks Bob

The Secretary of Friendship Lodge No. 84, Hagerstown, MD sends the following:

Frederick Chapter Order of DeMolay will be at Friendship Lodge No. 84 on Monday, May 9. We will open at 7:00 pm that night.  This is a correction of what you may have been told earlier. Hagerstown Chapter Order of DeMolay folded a few years ago but was the oldest chapter in Maryland at the time, dating back to 1921.
A number of members of Friendship Lodge would like to resurrect the chapter and this evening will be a time when others can find out how great a DeMolay Chapter can be.
