MASONIC HOME – Did you know that the Regulations have been changed whereby an applicant is not required to give up all his lifetime assets to be admitted to the Home? Yes, the following members of our Masonic Family may now come into the Home on a “pay as you go” basis. (1) A Master Mason and his wife. (2) The widow or child of a deceased Master Mason. (3) The daughter, sister, or mother of a Master Mason. Note: Those of sufficient financial assets may be required to pay a one time entrance fee. Interested Brethren may secure entrance forms from Box 869, Parkersburg, WV 26101. Thank you MW Paul Cottrell, PGM, for providing this update.

It is supported by your giving through the Penny A Day program and your other gifts and Bequeaths . Give by placing donations with your Lodge Secretary, dropping money in the donation jars in your lodge, sending it directly to the HOME or the Grand Secretary also by remembering the Home in your Will. St. Johns Lodge #24, Shinnston will be honoring our Past Masters on Saturday March 22nd. We invite all master masons to join us in this celebration. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm with lodge to follow. There is no work planned just good food and fellowship. Ladies are invited.

Brethren, please be advised that we will have the unveiling of the Grand Masters portrait at Equality Lodge on March 29, 2014 beginning at Noon. There will be a luncheon preceding and a brief unveiling ceremony to follow. I hope that you can all attend and make my “has been” status official.

The Martinsburg WV Scottish Rite Childhood Language Development, Charity Golf Outing will be held at Locust Hill Golf Course, 278 St. Andrews Drive, Charles Town, West Virginia on Saturday, the 17th of May.  The format will be a four man scramble with a shotgun start at 2:00 P.M. followed by a picnic at the course pavilion at approximately 6:30 o’clock. The cost will be $80 per golfer and includes golf, cart, range balls, picnic buffet, and prizes.  There will also be a hole-in-one contest.

Montgomery Chapter No. 47, RAM will host a Festival on Saturday, April 12, 2014 in the Lodge Room at Montgomery. We will have coffee and donuts at 8:30 with Degree Work starting at 9:00AM. All Chapter Degrees will be conferred. Chapter Masons are urged to attend and bring any candidates you may have.  We will work thru the MEM Degree and then have a fine dinner, and then conclude with the RA Degree.

Grand Officers will meet in conjunction with Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons Festival being held at Clarksburg Masonic Temple.
All Grand Officers are expected to attend the Royal Arch Festival beginning at 8:00AM and to remain as long as possible after lunch at noon. This is a directive of Right Eminent Grand Commander Paul O. Davis.
