MASONIC HOME – Did you know that the Regulations have been changed whereby an applicant is not required to give up all his lifetime assets to be admitted to the Home? Yes, the following members of our Masonic Family may now come into the Home on a “pay as you go” basis. (1) A Master Mason and his wife. (2) The widow or child of a deceased Master Mason. (3) The daughter, sister, or mother of a Master Mason. Note: Those of sufficient financial assets may be required to pay a one time entrance fee. Most Excellent Grand High Priest Raymond Lusk and Right Eminent Grand Commander Edward E. Ball will visit the 2nd. Capitular District for a dinner meeting hosted by Warm Springs Chapter # 53, RAM in Berkeley Springs W. Va. I am sure there will be several other dignitaries attending this special occasion. No work is scheduled, but 50 year service awards for both Royal Arch and Knights Templar are to be presented to Companion- Sir Knight Vernon D. Youngblood. A meal is planned starting at 6:00 o’ clock PM and there will be plenty to eat. Please note the meal is open for all masons! Please plan on attending and enjoy the fellowship. This is a great time to see old friends as well as meeting new ones. Any one needing a ride can call Louie Youngblood and we will try to help . We hope to see you there .

Huntington Commandery #9 K.T. will have a stated conclave on 23 March 2012 at 7:30 p.m. This will also be the night for the election and installation of officers. This will also be the annual meeting of the past commanders at 7:00 p.m. Dinner will be at about 6:30 p.m. (I have been told that this will be the first of several activities recognizing the 125th anniversary of the founding of Huntington Commandery #9.)
82nd Annual Easter Sunrise Service
All Sir Knights are encouraged to attend the 82nd Annual Easter Sunrise Service of the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar of the United States of America. It will be held on the steps of the George Washington Masonic Memorial, Alexandria, Virginia, on Sunday, April 8, 2012, and will begin at 8:00 AM. This will be a memorable weekend of events in our Nation’s Capital, including delegation dinners, tours, and Masonic fellowship. Right Eminent Grand Prelate, Sir Knight William D. Hartman, will conduct the Service. The headquarters hotel will be the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, 5000 Seminary Road, Alexandria, Virginia.
