MASONIC HOME – Did you know that the Regulations have been changed whereby an applicant is not required to give up all his lifetime assets to be admitted to the Home? Yes, the following members of our Masonic Family may now come into the Home on a “pay as you go” basis. (1) A Master Mason and his wife. (2) The widow or child of a deceased Master Mason. (3) The daughter, sister, or mother of a Master Mason. Note: Those of sufficient financial assets may be required to pay a one time entrance fee. Interested Brethren may secure entrance forms from Box 869, Parkersburg, WV 26101. Thank you MW Paul Cottrell, PGM, for providing this update.

7:00 P.M. Master Mason Lodge will open!

Brethren,

Just a reminder that Winchester Hiram Lodge # 21 will be hosting district 3 school tomorrow. We will be practicing the reception of the DDGM and reception of the Grand Master. All Master Masons are welcome to attend.  All officers should attend as we will be receiving the DDGM at our February stated. District school will begin at 7:30 with light refreshments to follow.

Also, we will be having dinner before our stated communication on Feb. 11. We will be having a picnic in February with hamburgers, hot dogs w/ sauerkraut and all the fixings along with assorted summertime sides. Dinner will be free will $10 donation and will start at 6:30 with lodge to open at 7:30. We will be receiving the District Deputy Grand Master and will hear his program along with a message from the Grand Master. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us.

On a sad note, Brother Dale Ohlschwager suffered a stroke a few days ago and is in the ICU at Winchester Medical Center. His wife Tammy has indicated that he would love to have visitors.
