Grand Master of Masons in West Virginia
MASONIC HOME – Did you know that the Regulations have been changed whereby an applicant is not required to give up all his lifetime assets to be admitted to the Home? Yes, the following members of our Masonic Family may now come into the Home on a “pay as you go” basis. (1) A Master Mason and his wife. (2) The widow or child of a deceased Master Mason. (3) The daughter, sister, or mother of a Master Mason. Note: Those of sufficient financial assets may be required to pay a one time entrance fee. Interested Brethren may secure entrance forms from Box 869, Parkersburg, WV 26101. Thank you MW Paul Cottrell, PGM, for providing this update.
PENNY A DAY
Brethren we are about to start a new Grand Lodge year. We are therefore bringing to your attention the Penny A Day program. We continue putting emphasis on the Masonic Home Memorial Fund. Now is a good time to resolve to support the one recognized Grand Lodge Charity by putting our loose change in the containers placed in our lodges for donations to this program. Your Secretaries will be making their annual reports and will include your donations in the report to the Grand Lodge. We also urge each of you whether you are able to attend Lodge or not to support this Program by including a donation on your dues card. IT IS TRULY FOR A MOST WORTHY CAUSE! Thank you! Fraternally, Bill F. Gardner, PGM.
IF YOU KNOW OF THE ILLNESS OR DEATH OF A MEMBER, PLEASE INFORM THE WORSHIPFUL MASTER OR SECRETARY OF HIS LODGE, PLUS MYSELF. WE NEED TO REMEMBER OUR OBLIGATION DURING THESE DIFFICULT TIMES. PHIL
