MASONIC HOME – Did you know that the Regulations have been changed whereby an applicant is not required to give up all his lifetime assets to be admitted to the Home? Yes, the following members of our Masonic Family may now come into the Home on a “pay as you go” basis. (1) A Master Mason and his wife. (2) The widow or child of a deceased Master Mason. (3) The daughter, sister, or mother of a Master Mason. Note: Those of sufficient financial assets may be required to pay a one time entrance fee. Interested Brethren may secure entrance forms from Box 869, Parkersburg, WV 26101. Thank you MW Paul Cottrell, PGM, for providing this update.

Give by placing donations with your Lodge Secretary, dropping money in the donation jars in your lodge, sending it directly to the HOME or the Grand Secretary also by remembering the Home in your Will. Thursday August 23, 2012 7:00 PM Dunbar Lodge 159. Brother Joshua Daniel Stowers will be raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. We need all the help we can get to assist us with this degree. Come out and get your feet wet or cheer on those working.
Deford Lodge Special Communication to confer Master Mason on Friday, August 24 at 7:00 PM, there will be light refreshments before the meeting at 6:30 pm.
Washington Lodge #58-St. Albans-will have a Third Degree on Tuesday Aug 21st-Dinner 6:30 and Lodge at 7:30Pm.
Any & ALL help would be appreciated.
Also-September 3rd at 8AM will be the annual Labor Day Breakfast.
The Ladies of OES#79 will help in serving & will clean-up afterwards.
The Grand Lodge of West Virginia will have its annual communication on 8-9 October 2012 in Charleston.
Tuesday Aug. 21 Winchester Hiram Lodge # 21 will confer the Master Mason’s degree on one candidate. Lodge will open at 7pm. Please make every effort to attend. A group will meet for a “Dutch Treat”, order from menu. dinner at starting at 5:15 we should be through by 6:30. You are welcome to join us.

The Grand Chapter of West Virginia will have its annual convocation on 18-20 October.in Flatwoods
Tyrian Chapter No. 13, RAM, Charleston, WV will hold a festival on September 22nd starting at 9:00 AM. All degrees will be conferred. Visitors and courtesy candidates are welcome although an email on candidates will be helpful in planning.
District 2 Mini-School on Royal Arch opening, balloting, etc.-August 25th in Martinsburg, WV; Start at 9 AM over by 12 noon. All Companions are welcome and encouraged to attend. This will be informal practice and a good chance to ask questions. We hope to see you there.
Montgomery Chapter No. 47, RAM, will hold its Festival on Saturday, September 8, 2012 in the Lodge Hall at Montgomery. Coffee and donuts will be served at 8:30AM with degree work to start at 9:00AM
All Chapter Degrees will be conferred. A nice dinner will be served following the ME Master Degree.
All Companions and Candidates are welcome.

Pilgrim Commandery 21, Elkins is now in the process of planning on marching thru the Mountain State Forest Festival Grand Feature Parade on 6 October and will be sending out information as soon as possible… So keep looking for this event and the information that will be forth coming. PC Ross Teter is heading up the event along with the Dias Officers and a few others….Thank You………….PC Neal Collett
Pilgrim Commandery 21, Elkins Starting about 10 am on the 25th of August we will be doing the Red Cross and Malta Degrees and after lunch we will be doing The Order of the Temple.
