MASONIC HOME – Did you know that the Regulations have been changed whereby an applicant is not required to give up all his lifetime assets to be admitted to the Home? Yes, the following members of our Masonic Family may now come into the Home on a “pay as you go” basis. (1) A Master Mason and his wife. (2) The widow or child of a deceased Master Mason. (3) The daughter, sister, or mother of a Master Mason. Note: Those of sufficient financial assets may be required to pay a one time entrance fee. Interested Brethren may secure entrance forms from Box 869, Parkersburg, WV 26101. Thank you MW Paul Cottrell, PGM, for providing this update.

Acacia Lodge No. 586 will be hosting the Inaugural Meeting of Low Vale on Wednesday May 29th, 2013 at the Waynesboro Fish and Game Club at 5:30pm
The cost is $20 and includes a dinner of Delmonico Steak, Baked Potato, Cole Slaw and soft drinks or water. Everyone will also receive a lapel pin specially designed for this inaugural event

HUNTINGTON, Charles W. Wise # 137 Y.R.C. will hold their annual meeting on Sat. May 4, 2013 with a light lunch at 12 noon and the meeting starting at 1:00 pm.  We will elect and install officers for the 2013-14 year.    Harry Delaney, Secy.

Fort Henry York Rite College 61, Annual Assembly, 1pm, May 11, 2013 at Scottish Rite Building, Wheeling. ACTIVITIES include conferral of Knight of York degree on one candidate and election/installation of officers.C.K. George D. Jackson, Preeminent Governor, asked that the announcement of the annual assembly May 9, 2013 at Fort Henry be amended as follows: Fort Henry York Rite College 61, Annual Assembly, 1pm, May 11, 2013 at Scottish Rite Building, Wheeling.  ACTIVITIES include conferral of Knight of York degree on one candidate and election/installation of officers. and – there will be a cold cut platter  at noon – cost $5 per member. The Governor would appreciate your reservation to ensure enough food is available for C.K. Don Showalter to prepare the table. You can place a reservation through the Secretary. No activity is planned for ladies. Proper attire is tux, if available, or dark business suit.
