MASONIC HOME – Did you know that the Regulations have been changed whereby an applicant is not required to give up all his lifetime assets to be admitted to the Home? Yes, the following members of our Masonic Family may now come into the Home on a “pay as you go” basis. (1) A Master Mason and his wife. (2) The widow or child of a deceased Master Mason. (3) The daughter, sister, or mother of a Master Mason. Note: Those of sufficient financial assets may be required to pay a one time entrance fee. Interested Brethren may secure entrance forms from Box 869, Parkersburg, WV 26101. Thank you MW Paul Cottrell, PGM, for providing this update.

Nurse Pattie is again on the job. I had to rush Mickey to the Emergency Room at 3:00 a.m. this morning. He has an infection in his blood, that has spread throughout his body. His blood pressure went down as low as 65/37.

Needless to say, 5 or 6 doctors and nurses bombarded his room, sticking him for the 6th time to put 2 more IV’S in him. They are running tests to try and find where the infection is coming from, which is causing the BP to go up and down. The doctors said this is very serious due to Mickey being a diabetic. They have put him on some very strong medicines, but, if they can’t get his BP stabilized, they will have a surgeon put a catheter in his neck. They will only do this as a last resort due to many complications with this procedure. Obviously, they have to find the infection.

At this time, he cannot have any visitors or, phone calls. I will certainly call or email any changes in his condition, good or bad….. He can receive cards or flowers if anyone wishes to send them.. The address is:

Warren Memorial Hospital
ICU, Second Floor
1000 North Shenandoah Avenue
Front Royal, VA  22630

PLEASE, PLEASE, keep Mickey and I in your prayers. He is a very sick Brethren, and he needs your support.

Anyone may certainly call me with any questions, and I will return the call as soon as I can. I will mostly be at the hospital, so, just leave a message on the home phone, or my cell phone.

My thanks and love to you all……

NURSE PATTIE (On behalf of my wonderful husband)

Mickey Moats
