MASONIC HOME – Did you know that the Regulations have been changed whereby an applicant is not required to give up all his lifetime assets to be admitted to the Home? Yes, the following members of our Masonic Family may now come into the Home on a “pay as you go” basis. (1) A Master Mason and his wife. (2) The widow or child of a deceased Master Mason. (3) The daughter, sister, or mother of a Master Mason. Note: Those of sufficient financial assets may be required to pay a one time entrance fee. Interested Brethren may secure entrance forms from Box 869, Parkersburg, WV 26101. Thank you MW Paul Cottrell, PGM, for providing this update.

Acacia Lodge No 157 will have it’s regular stated communication on Thurs. April 11 2013. We will have a return on the Entered Apprentice Degree, if the vote is favorable we will confer the Fellow Craft Degree. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Acacia Lodge No 157 & Fairmont Lodge No 9 will have their annual Joint Communication on Sat April 13, 2013, beginning with Dinner at 6 o’clock PM, followed by Lodge at 7 o’clock PM. Officers of  Lodge No 157 & Lodge No 9 are requested to wear a Tux or a dark business suite. All Master Masons are invited to attend and enjoy an evening of good food and fellowship.

ACTIVITIES include conferral of Knight of York degree on one candidate and election/installation of officers.C.K. George D. Jackson, Preeminent Governor, asked that the announcement of the annual assembly May 9, 2013 at Fort Henry be amended as follows:.  Fort Henry York Rite College 61, Annual Assembly, 1pm, May 11, 2013 at Scottish Rite Building, Wheeling.  ACTIVITIES include conferral of Knight of York degree on one candidate and election/installation of officers and – there will be a cold cut platter at noon – cost $5 per member. The Governor would appreciate your reservation to ensure enough food is available for C.K. Don Showalter to prepare the table. You can place a reservation through the Secretary. No activity is planned for ladies. Proper attire is tux, if available, or dark business suit.

DEMOLAY

Clarksburg Chapter, Order of DeMolay will have its Installation of Officers on Sunday, April 14th at the Clarksburg Masonic Building. Dinner will be served at 5:00pm and the Ceremony will begin at 6:30pm. This is open to the public and Master Masons are encouraged to attend. If you know a young man between the ages of 12 and 21, bring him with you! No doubt, he’ll thank you.
