RONALD M. “Coach” COX, 70, of Columbus, Oh., died Friday, April 30, 2010 at his home.   Born October 5, 1939 in Genoa, W.Va., he retired from Western Electric-Lucent after 36 years of service.  Additionally, he was a member of Jewell Lodge No. 140 AF&AM.

Preceding him in death was wife Roxie Cox; father Allie Cox, and great-grandson Chase Jayden Mustain-Cox.
Survivors include one son Ronnie Cox and wife Quinn of Columbus; one daughter Kym Yeager and husband Doug of Stoutsville, Oh.; grandchildren Tabitha Takala and husband JJ, Elizabeth Yeager, Christopher Cox, and Doug Yeager, Jr. Also surviving is his mother Mary Elizabeth Cox of Genoa, W.Va.; brothers Kenny Cox and wife Linda, also of Genoa, and Colen Cox and wife Belinda of Wayne, W.Va.; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 6 p.m. with service to follow at 7:30 p.m. at Graumlich Funeral Home, Columbus, with Rev. Brian Humphrey officiating.  Additional calling hours in Wayne W.Va., on Wednesday beginning at 6 p.m. at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held Thursday 10 a.m., with Pastor Roger Maynard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Beckett Family Cemetery, Dunlow, W.Va. where Masonic graveside rites will be performed.
