WHEELING — Howard Husk Jr., 88, of Wheeling, W.Va., died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Peterson Rehabilitation Center.
He was born June 23, 1924, in Bristol, W.Va., a son to the late Howard E. and Lota Mae (Nutter) Husk.
He was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Wheeling and a 32nd Degree Mason for more than 50 years. He was retired from the C&P Telephone Company in Wheeling, and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Webb, Kathleen Ritter and Nell Hamilton, an infant brother, Clifford Husk, and two grandsons, Scott Allen Randolph and Stuart William Randolph.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Weber) Husk; two sons, Roger (June) Husk of Wheeling, and Fred (Linda) Randolph of Tucson, Ariz.; one daughter, Bernice Husk of New Hope, Pa.; one sister, Rebecca Sue Martin of Summit, N.J.; one grandson, Justin A. Husk of Wheeling; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Committal Service and Interment will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 12 p.m. at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Chapel in Mount Clare, W.Va.
