Death of David Warden Jaco Jr.

David Warden Jaco, Jr., age 81 of Railroad Street, Grafton, WV passed away Monday, January 9, 2012 at the United Hospital Center in Clarksburg. He was born June 6, 1930 in Grafton, WV a son of the late David Warden Jaco and Zena Virginia (Dofflemyer) Jaco.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Norma Lee (Murphy) Jaco; two sons, David L. Jaco of Ormond Beach, FL and Keith A. Jaco and wife Beverly of Grafton; two grandchildren, Matthew K. Jaco and fiance’ Alexandria Witkowski of Grafton and Karli E. Jaco also of Grafton; one brother, Charles N. Jaco and wife Mary of Bridgeport, WV; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Frederick B. Jaco and William H. “Bus” Jaco, Sr. and one sister, Louise Virginia Lambert.

David was retired from the Chessie Railroad Company as an engineer with 37 years of service and served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Fetterman United Methodist Church where he took an active part in all the church projects and will be greatly missed.

He was a member of the Grafton Lodge #15 AF&AM, Copestone Chapter #12 R.A.M., DeMolay Commandry #11, and Naomi Chapter 12 Order of the Eastern Star.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Thursday, January 12th from 3:00-9:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor James E. Martin officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodsdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Grafton. Masonic graveside services will be conducted by Grafton Lodge #15 AM&FM.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes contributions to be made to the Fetterman United Methodist Church at Rt. 5, Box 205 Grafton, WV 26354.
