Death of Charles Vernon Bush

Charles Vernon Bush, 86, of Waynesboro, VA, died Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Augusta Health, Fishersville, VA.
He was born July 13, 1927, in Keyser, WV, son of Kline and Florence Jenkins Bush.
Charles spent most of his adult life in Berkeley Springs, where he attended First UMC, was a member and past Worshipful Master of the DeFord Masonic Lodge, a member of the VFW and the American Legion, and was an attorney for PGS/US Silica. A graduate of West Virginia University, he served in the U.S. Army. In recent years, to be closer to family, he moved to Waynesboro, VA, where he was a member of Main Street UMC.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Starr Bush.
Surviving are his daughters, Kathryn Johnson Hepner of Framingham, MA, and Susan Harrold of Waynesboro, VA; half-siblings Robert Bush, Donna Keller, and Nancy Myers; grandchildren, Charles Johnson and Amanda Moore; great-granddaughter, Ella Moore; cousin William McCulla; and nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 12, 2013, at the First UMC of Berkeley Springs by Andrew Cooney. Interment will follow in Greenway Cemetery.
There will be no formal visitation.
