Death of Charles Leo Hannan

Brother Charles Leo Hannan of Harrisville Lodge #98 died June 21, 2010.Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Raiguel Funeral Home, Cairo.

Burial will follow in the Cairo IOOF Cemetery with Masonic and Military services.

Charles Leo Hannan, 86, of St. Marys, died June 21, 2010, at Riverside Memorial Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.

He was born Feb. 17, 1924, at Devil Hole Community, Ritchie County, W.Va., the son of the late Melvin Charles and Jessie Haught Hannan.

Leo retired as a manager from Contel Telephone Co. after 19 years. He was a member of Harrisville Lodge 98 AF & AM and Harris-Ritchie Post 3554 VFW.

He is survived by his wife, Donna E. Schoolcraft Hannan; sons, Michael A. Hannan of Vienna and Donald M. Hannan of Columbus, Ohio; daughter, Judy A. Farson of St. Marys; sisters, Edna Kerns of Parkersburg and Edity Myers of Bridgeton, N.J.; grandsons, Matthew Leo Hannan, Greg Farson and Dillon Webster; great-grandchildren, Maria Morrell and Adrian Webster; and great-great-granddaughter, Jocelyn Balderson.

He was preceded in death by sister, Gladys Ocheltree; and brothers, Eugene, Olis, Lutrell, and Robert Hannan.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Raiguel Funeral Home, Cairo, with Evangelist Okey Lamp officiating. Burial will follow in the Cairo IOOF Cemetery with Masonic and Military services. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Friday.
