Mr. Cecil M. Dolan, 95, of Poca went home to be with the Lord on April 9, 2011, in the Hubbard Hospice House.
Mr. Dolan is retired from Columbia Gas with 31 years of service. He was a member of Poca Baptist Church, Nitro Masonic Lodge No. 170 AF & AM, Scottish Rite Bodies and Beni Kedem Shrine. He was also an Army veteran, having served during World War II.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Mrs. Cosettie Dolan; nephew, Ronnie Fleming; and brother-in-law, Leonard McClanahan.
The family would like to thank Hospice Care, neighbors and our church family for all the food, love and support given to us during this time.
A tribute to the life of Mr. Cecil M. Dolan will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Poca Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Derry, Pastor, officiating. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens with Masonic rites conducted by the Nitro Masonic Lodge No. 170. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
