FAIRMONT — Bruce Alan Curfman, 49, of Fairview, passed away in his home Thursday (April 14, 2011).
He was born Dec. 14, 1961, in Fairmont, son of Cecil Curfman of Fairview and the late Margaret Jo Davis Curfman.
Bruce, along with his wife, was the owner of Curfman Garage. He enjoyed motorcycle racing and was a member of the Mannington Masonic Lodge No. 31, and a former member of Haught’s Chapel Methodist Church.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Ellen Toothman Curfman; four children, Blake Curfman and Clint Curfman, both of Bridgeport, and Andy Moore and wife Andrea, and Amber Moore, all of Fairview; one brother, Brian Curfman and wife Holly of Haymarket Va.; two nieces, Emily and Ashley Curfman; and several cousins.
The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, Curry Chapel, 100 Grant St., Fairview, from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday and from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday. The service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Randy Vincent officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Fairmont with burial rights being held by Mannington Masonic Lodge No. 31.
